CM Majhi leads cleanliness drive in Bhubaneswar to mark PM Modi’s 75th birthday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday was marked with a special cleanliness drive in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday under the Seva Pakhwada campaign, with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi leading from the front.
At the Master Canteen Square, CM Majhi picked up a broom and actively participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, symbolising the message of collective responsibility towards cleanliness. Several ministers, MLAs, BJP’s Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, and state BJP president Manmohan Samal joined the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Majhi recalled how PM Modi had celebrated his birthday in Odisha last year by eating ‘Kheer’ prepared by an Adivasi woman. He said multiple programmes have been organised across the state to mark the Prime Minister’s birthday.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the Prime Minister’s consistent focus on Odisha’s development and his commitment to uplifting the lives of people in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Majhi said, “Today is PM Modi’s 75th birthday. There are a series of programmes lined up to mark his birthday. I pray to Lord Shri Jagannath that He grants you excellent health, long life, and unwavering energy, so that you may take this great mission of national service even further.”
