According to sources, in a vibrant display of national pride, the Chief Minister joined a grand Tiranga Yatra (Tricolour Rally) in Cuttack district. The patriotic event was held as part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The rally witnessed participation from thousands of enthusiastic citizens, including Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Chandra Sethi. Waving the national flag, many participants also took part in a striking motorbike procession, adding colour and energy to the event.
The Tricolour Rally began at Jhinkiria in Cuttack and proceeded to Chanduli, drawing crowds along the route. With flags in hand and chants of unity, the event marked a spirited build-up to Independence Day celebrations in the State, to remember the freedom fighters.
“Today, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, based on our tricolour national flag, is being carried out all over the country. The campaign that started on August 12 continued for three days till August 14. I participated in the Tiranga Yatra rally conducted at the 42 Mouza locality of the Cuttack Sadar region. Main aim of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is to give due honour to the national flag and create widespread awareness among people,” the CM stated.
“Younger generations must know about the significance of our tricolour. This nationwide campaign was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The campaign was also carried out in every nook and corner of the country, last year,” the CM expressed.
