In a major step toward digital governance and citizen convenience, the State government has launched the ‘e-Registration’ mobile application, which will now provide access to all revenue-related services at the fingertips of citizens.

The initiative was officially launched by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, marking a significant shift in how public services are delivered in the State.
The app aims to eliminate the need for physical visits to revenue offices or service centers, making it easier and more convenient for citizens to access important government services directly from their smartphones. The platform will offer a one-stop solution for a range of services related to land records, registration, and official documentation.

Know the key services what the app offers:

Through the e-Registration app, users can:

1.    Book online slots for property registration.
2.    Track the status of slot bookings.
3.    Apply for certified copies of documents.
4.    Download important land-related documents online.
5.    Check government-assessed market value of land.
6.    Identify their nearest sub-registrar office.
7.    Apply for inspection-based registration services.
8.    Share feedback on the services received.

Citizens will no longer need to queue up at revenue offices or make multiple visits for simple procedures like document submission, registration services, or property evaluations. The new app ensures transparency, faster processing, and minimal human intervention, which also reduces the scope for unusual delays or corruption.

Accessibility and convenience

During the launch, the Odisha CM emphasised the State government’s commitment to using technology to simplify lives and bring governance to people’s doorsteps. The CM noted that services that once took days or even weeks can now be completed within minutes through this mobile application.

The app will be especially useful for the elderly, working professionals, and citizens in remote areas who often face challenges in accessing revenue services. With this digital leap, the government hopes to strengthen its e-governance framework, improve service delivery efficiency, and enhance public satisfaction.

Citizens can now download the ‘e-Registration’ app from official app stores and begin using its services immediately. Training and awareness programs are also being planned to ensure that users from all backgrounds can use the app effectively.

“We are trying as to how people can avail integrated revenue services without visiting the Department offices. We are soon to launch one more mobile app, which will help provide more services from home. We are striving to make use of advanced technology in the days ahead to end the role of middlemen (land brokers), and curb forgery,” Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said while speaking to mediapersons.
