BSKY beneficiaries will continue to get cashless healthcare services: Odisha Chief Secretary

Following complaints about some private hospitals in Odisha refusing cashless treatment to BSKY beneficiaries, Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena assured that the BSKY will continue offering cashless healthcare. Stern actions are promised against non-compliant hospitals.

Following complaints by patients and their relatives that some private hospitals in Odisha are allegedly refusing cashless treatment facilities to the beneficiaries of the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) citing a change in government, Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena came up with a clarification on Thursday.

Jena clarified through a video message that all the BSKY beneficiaries will continue to get cashless healthcare services and stern action will be taken against hospitals denying treatment facilities to BSKY beneficiaries.
