Left lying in a critical condition on the road, injured Siddhanta was spotted by the two BSF personnel, who immediately sprang into action.
The soldiers, stationed at the nearby BSF camp in Sadingia, noticed the accident while traveling along the road. Without hesitation, they called for BSF ambulance and rushed to the spot and saved the youth’s life by immediately taking him to hospital.
The young man was first taken to the local health facility in Phiringia for initial treatment. Later, he was shifted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Phulbani for advanced care. Doctors immediately began treatment, ensuring the youth’s condition stabilised.
The family of the victim expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the BSF soldiers for their timely intervention and selfless service. Thanks to their efforts, the young man’s life was saved.
“The jawans first took us to Phiringia and then again to Phulbani. Timely medical care could be provided to the accident victim due to their help. Now, his condition is a little better. I thank the BSF jawans,” a relative of the accident victim, Sangram Rana, said.
