BJP National VP Baijayant Panda urges people to contribute to country’s progress

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President Baijayant Panda on Sunday attended a special programme held at the Rayagada BJP office on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’. 

The BJP leader expressed his happiness for the participation of people from all walks of life. 

“It is an apolitical programme. But it is our duty to organise this programme to listen to the Prime Minister. It gave me immense pleasure that local residents, neighbours and friends participated in the programme. I hope, hearing this programme, people of Rayagada district will also find places in the Prime Minister’s programme,” he said.

“Young men, women, and people from different spheres should take initiative. It will ensure not only their own development but also their families' development. They will contribute to the country’s development. Their success will make us proud,” he added. 

Prior to the programme, the National VP felicitated four personalities who have excelled in different fields. On the occasion, he also met the district-level leaders and workers and discussed about the party’s organisational situation.
