BJP National VP and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda flags off Mini Marathon in Rourkela

Different programmes are being organised across India for 15 days on the occasion of the 74th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As part of the initiative, BJP National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda joined a Mini Marathon held at Rourkela in Sundargarh district as the chief guest on Saturday.

Panda flagged off the Mini Marathon covering Ambagan Square to Sata Satar Square which was attended by children, youth and elderly people.  

 “Crores of BJP members conduct different kinds of service programmes for 15 days starting from September 17. We conduct various programmes on cleanliness, health and blood donation across the country in every district and circle. We reach people and serve them,” said Panda.

“BJP is a party that doesn’t come near people during election only. We reach people and serve them through different drives all round the year, in every month and every week. We have been giving extra focus to service during these 15 days,” he added.

After the Mini Marathon programme in Rourkela, Panda is scheduled to visit Deogarh to attend the membership drive of BJP. 

Subsequently, he will discuss with the party members at the district BJP office in Purunagarh and review membership drive.
