BJD leaders continue to rap party MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik for his comments targeting 5T secretary V K Pandian’s visit to various parts of the State as part of the grievance redressal initiative of the Odisha government.
BJD MP Amar Patnaik was the latest among the party leaders to join the bandwagon to take a jibe at Soumya.
“Everybody knows about him and his intention. The way he is condemning the party by remaining its member is not at all acceptable. People of Odisha will not accept it also,” said Amar.
However, the reaction of Soumya Ranjan could not be obtained in response to Amar’s statements.
Notably, several BJD leaders have been slamming Soumya Ranjan in the last couple of days for his scathing attack on 5T secretary and explosive statements on the Chief Minister’s office.
Earlier responding to the criticism against him, Soumya had said, “What I am speaking is for the interest of the party. I am speaking for the betterment of the BJD and the State. I don’t think, they are saying these things on their own. I suppose someone is pressurizing them to say so. They have no option but to obey him as they would lose their source of earning.”
