BJD leader’s 'misbehaviour with tribal women': NCST directs Odisha DGP, Collector & SP to submit report in 7 days 

The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) has directed the Odisha DGP, the Angul district Collector, and the Superintendent of Police to initiate a probe and submit reports withing seven days.

The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) has directed the Odisha DGP, the Angul district Collector, and the Superintendent of Police to initiate a probe into the allegations of tribal women being misbehaved by Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Nalini Pradhan and his supporters and submit reports within seven days.   

On January 15, the consecration ceremony of the Jangha Deo’s temple was being held at Ambasaramunda village under Athamallik of Angul district. During the programme, BJD leader Nalini Pradhan and his supporters allegedly hurled abuses at tribal women.
