Bhubaneswar woman dies under suspicious circumstances, husband arrested

A tragic incident has shaken Bhubaneswar’s Mancheswar area, where 25-year-old newlywed Trupti Nayak was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws’ residence in Dhirikuti Sahi on Sunday. Following allegations from her family that she was murdered, police have arrested her husband, Bikram Nayak, and registered a murder case.

According to police reports, Trupti’s body was discovered in a questionable state inside her marital home. Her family members have accused Bikram of murdering her, claiming that she had been subjected to harassment. Acting on the formal complaint lodged by Trupti’s relatives, the police detained Bikram for questioning. Following preliminary interrogation and evidence review, he was arrested on charges of murder.
