Bhubaneswar to host Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event; President & PM to attend 

The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event will be held in Bhubaneswar from January 8, 2025. 

It has been decided that the event will be held at Janata Maidan for three days, till January 10. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has already approved the proposal of the Ministry of External Affairs for the event. 

Besides President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several Union Ministers will also attend this three-day-long celebration.

With an aim to connect youths of the nation with the overseas Diaspora, this day is being celebrated every year on January 9.

As per sources, the Chief Secretary on Saturday chaired a review meeting attended by concerned officials in connection with the event.
