Bhubaneswar continues to boil, 'no respite on cards' 

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhubaneswar, Keonjhar recorded 42.7 degrees Celsius, Chandbali 42.2 degrees Celsius, Balasore 41.4 degrees Celsius, Rourkela 40.6 degrees Celsius, Jharsuguda 39.9 degrees Celsius and Sambalpur 39.4 degrees Celsius by 2.30 pm.

Gruelling heat continued to scorch most parts of Odisha on Sunday too. Bhubaneswar was the hottest place in the state by 2:30 PM today as the mercury touched 43.2 degrees Celsius.
