Barely two days after a tragic accident claimed the lives of five Odia labourers in Telangana, another bus carrying labourers from the state met with an accident on the Hyderabad-Khammam National Highway near Konijerla. The mishap occurred after a truck collided with the bus transporting passengers hailing from Odisha.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the road mishap.
Initial reports attributed the accident to heavy fog conditions enveloping the highway. The bus was en route from Hyderabad to Malkangiri, with approximately 50 passengers on board.

Two days prior, a similar incident tragically claimed five lives from Odisha when another bus met with an accident in Telangana. The accident draws attention to continuing safety challenges on highways frequently plagued by adverse weather conditions. Authorities have stressed the importance of enhanced caution and the implementation of fog-related safety measures.
Further investigations are underway to determine the precise causes and preventive measures to mitigate such incidents in the future.
