A day after Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini spoke her heart out and said how a storm turned her life upside down without taking the name of her husband and BJD MP, Anubhav Mohanty during an event at Bhubaneswar, the parliamentarian on Tuesday hit back at the actress.
Taking to his social media handles, the actor-turned-politician wrote, “Everyone must speak up against false propaganda.”
“I along with the people of Odisha are awaiting your response. Jay Mahaprabhu Jay Jagannath,” Mohanty wrote while tagging the actress in his post. (sic)
Earlier yesterday, while addressing the students of Ramadevi Women’s University during the 8th Basant Utsav 2023, the actress said, “I am an emotional and shy kind of girl who feared to talk with people. But a storm came and it changed my life upside down. I learnt from my mistakes and stood up every time life tried to push me down.”
“Dreaming is good, but this is the time to make your dream come true. Life is not a bed of roses neither it is a fairytale. It is unpredictable. You never know what is going to happen in the future,” the actress had said.
It is worthwhile to mention here that, the Orissa High Court in March had rejected a petition filed by Varsha seeking the court’s intervention to stop her husband from posting negative remarks against her on social media.
Varsha had filed the petition with Orissa High Court to stop the ‘fake and hate campaigns’ against her.
