“She (Abhaya) was a strong girl, it is impossible for a person like Sanjoy Roy to commit such a heinous crime alone,” said the deceased Kolkata doctor’s neighbour as he made some startling revelations in an exclusive conversation with OTV. OTV also learnt that Abhaya was not interested in working at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. She had even informed her mother about it around six months ago.

“I knew her from her childhood. Never in our wildest dreams had we thought that she could leave us like this. She was such a nice girl,” said the neighbour while speaking to OTV.

“She was a very good girl and had no enmity with anyone. She was the only girl of her parents. At first, we were informed that she had died by suicide. But, we knew that she was not someone who would commit suicide. But later we came to know that such heinous crime was committed with her,” he added.

“She had informed her mother that she was not interested in working at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital six months back. So, we suspect something fishy. Moreover, one man cannot do anything to her, as she was a strong girl. Sanjoy is a drunkard and she could have easily handled him. We suspect it to be the job of a group,” he informed.

“They are hiding something from us. All should be arrested and given such punishment that no one can ever think of doing anything like that again. We are with her parents and always be with them,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the court has allowed polygraph of six people including four doctors who were with Abhaya hours before the incident.
