308 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death reported in Odisha in last 24 hours

Continuing with its upward trend, Odisha reported 308 fresh cases of Covid-19 infections from different parts of the state. Similarly, one more person died of Covid-19 complications in the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in the current wave since April 5 has reached three, official sources said. 

As per the health department officials, around 5931 samples were tested in different districts of the state. With 308 new Covid cases, the total number of active cases in the state now stands at 1505.

On Saturday, Odisha had reported 204 cases of Covid-19 infections. It is pertinent to mention here that Odisha along with other states is witnessing a spike in Covid-19 cases.
