In a chilling road accident late on Sunday night, two young men lost their lives while another sustained critically injures after their motorcycle collided with the rear end of a stationary Hyva trawler near Brahmanipali in Sundargarh district. All three were reportedly returning to Bhedabahal village, their hometown, when the fatal accident occurred.
The Crash: High-Speed Impact With Unmarked Vehicle
According to local reports, the accident took place during the late hours when the motorcycle, carrying three individuals, rammed into the rear of an unmarked and stationary Hyva trawler parked along the roadside near Brahmanipali. The impact of the collision was devastating, killing two riders on the spot due to severe head and body injuries. The third rider sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
Eyewitnesses and local sources allege that the parked vehicle had no reflective markers or hazard lights, rendering it nearly invisible in the dark. The lack of illumination is believed to have significantly contributed to the collision.
