While tea is a common drink in many households in India, a particular tea-seller at Bali Yatra in Cuttack has become a favourite among the fairgoers, thanks to a different flavour and a message of unity.
Gabbar Chai, though a tandoori tea stall just like many other stalls selling tea in several parts of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, has a unique smoky aroma and a variety of flavours that is attracting the tea connoisseurs who visit Bali Yatra.
From chocolate coffee to gud (jaggery) tea, the owner of the stall promises to spoil whoever tastes it even once.
“We have more than 50 blends of teas, which you will not find anywhere in Odisha. We use secret spices in our tea which make the taste so flavourful,” said the owner of Gabbar Teat Stall.
Apart from that, the tea stall has a message for all too; ‘One Chai One Nation’. The owner wants to unite India through tea because he knows tea is the second most consumed drink in the world, surpassed only by water.
While Bali Yatra offers many things that people normally do not find elsewhere, this tea stall is certainly making its presence felt through its unique characteristics and distinct flavour.
The Bali Yatra which started on November 27 will continue till December 4.
