Ollywood actor and politician Anubhav Mohanty, who is fighting a bitter divorce battle with actress wife Varsha Priyadarshini, has made a fresh appeal for a 'respectable separation' in a social media post.
Unlike other occasions when he attacked the actress on social media, this time Mohanty declared that he loves her 'from the deepest core of his heart' and wanted their friendship to continue after the divorce.
Taking to his X (Twitter handle), he wrote, “🙏🏻 @VarshaPriyadar3, I loved you from the deepest core of my heart. For whatever reasons, our marriage failed! Can’t we please be friends forever even after divorce? I never wanted this separation to be so dirty but when separation is a must then why not a respectable one please?”
He further asked Varsha to reply immediately to his tweet and wrote, “You must and you should reply as immediately as possible being a responsible public personality please🙏🏻”
Even as Varsha is yet to respond to his tweets, Anubhav has been very active on social media of late and keeps posting about gender-neutral laws and speedy judgments.
“Neither Politics, nor Humanity, nor The Nation would survive if immediate steps aren’t taken towards #EqualJusticeForAllGenders as per our great #ConstituationOfIndia ! Hence, instead of saving political vote banks, it’s more than high time to save our #Motherland🇮🇳 Jai Hind🇮🇳,” he shared.
He also extended best wishes to cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and called his divorce day as ‘Happy Freedom Day’
“Happy Freedom Day @SDhawan25🇮🇳 Wish you a very happy life ahead👍🏻,” Anubhav tweeted.
It is worthwhile to mention here that a family court in Cuttack recently rejected the divorce petition filed by Anubhav Mohanty against his wife Varsha Priyadarshini as the couple could not prove their allegations and counter allegations.
