Taking one more step towards fulfilling the promise of filling 10 lakh government jobs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday distributed appointment letters to 71,000 new recruits.
While addressing the Rashtriya Rozgar Mela virtually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that appointment letters were handed over to more than 22 thousand teachers in Madhya Pradesh yesterday.
Similarly, on the auspicious day of Baisakhi, more than 70,000 youths have got government jobs in various departments of the central government. The Rashtriya Rozgar Mela shows the commitment of the government towards uplifting YuvaShakti’s spirit and giving them employment opportunities, said Modi.
The new recruits selected from across the country will join various positions/posts under Government of India such as Train Manager, Station Master, Sr. commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Inspector, Sub Inspectors, Constable, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Sr Draughtsman, JE/Supervisor, Assistant Professor, Teacher, Librarian, Nurse, Probationary Officers, PA, MTS, among others.
“Today’s New India is moving with policies and strategies that have opened the doors for new possibilities”, said Modi.
Modi said that after 2014, India adopted a proactive approach as opposed to the reactive stance of the earlier times. “This has resulted in a situation where this third decade of the 21st century is witnessing opportunities for employment and self-employment that were unimaginable earlier.
