RailWire connection of RailTel unchained

Good news for RailWire customers. RailWire, RailTel’s retail broadband connection, is now available at RailTel’s High Speed Wi-Fi network at 6,105 railway stations across India. 

With this, the RailWire customers can now use home broadband plans on RailTel’s High Speed Wi-Fi network. 
In an industry first initiative, RailWire connection of RailTel has been unchained now.  

This means, an existing RailWire subscriber doesn’t need to buy prepaid Wi-Fi at railway stations. To avail this facility, they just need to use their Smartphone, switch on Wi-Fi, select RailWire SSID and click on log in screen to punch RailWire User ID and Password they use at home, said a press note released by RailTel on October 6. 

“Either a business trip or a vacation travel, the users will keep enjoying hi-speed internet without any extra cost throughout India,” the press note added.

This initiative will enable internet users to stay connected wherever they go. They can now use their home broadband plans anywhere in India.  

Notably, the number of RailWire subscribers across India stands at 4.82 lakh and it is only growing.
