A female air hostess has come forward with serious allegations of sexual harassment by a senior pilot of her airline. Her video has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and calls for immediate action.
In the video, the air hostess appears visibly disturbed, speaking directly into the camera as she recounts the alleged misconduct. She does not name the airline or the accused pilot, but describes the man as someone in a senior position of authority.
“I was married, but we have been in a relationship since 2023. But, he promised to marry me and asked me to get a divorce from my husband. Believing his happy married life promises, I initiated my divorce. But now, he is claiming that he also was married and has been separated,” alleged the Air Hostess.
“Although he was married, he never told me that he was married. When I learnt that he was married and separated, I decided to end my relationship with him. This led to arguments between us. Now, he has been blackmailing me,” she further alleged.
Toward the end of the video, she urged her airline and the authorities to take such complaints seriously and to protect women working in aviation.
The incident has not yet been confirmed by the airline involved, and the identity of the accused pilot has not been disclosed. However, the video has already begun to circulate widely online, leading to an outpouring of support for the survivor and condemnation from women’s rights groups and aviation unions.
No official police complaint has been publicly acknowledged as of now. However, social media users are pressing for accountability, urging the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation to take note.
