Amid several incidents of flight brawls and passengers peeing on fellow passengers, another incident of a drunken man peeing on another person has been reported from the New York-Delhi American Airlines flight.

The accused is reportedly a student at a university in the US. He was completely drunk and urinated while he was asleep. The matter came to the fore after the passenger complained to the crew.

The incident reportedly took place on flight number AA292 which took from New York and landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport.

However, reports said, the victim was not keen on reporting the incident to the police after the accused apologized to him. The accused apologized and said that he was in an inebriation state and police complaint might put his career in jeopardy.

However, the crew members informed the pilot about the incident who then took the matter to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) at the IGI airport. Later, the accused was detained by the CISF personnel at the airport who later handed him to the Delhi Police.

A PTI report said, “The accused was taken into custody after the flight landed at IGI airport. Police are recording the statements of the persons concerned.”

This is the second such incident in the last few months as a man named Shankar Mishra had allegedly urinated on an elderly woman in almost similar manner on November 26. Mishra had to spend a month in jail and was later released on bail.
