The S-400 air defence system
Amid Operation Sindoor, Pakistan's military had reportedly attempted to attack several Indian locations, including Srinagar, Amritsar and Chandigarh on the night of May 7.
As per India's defence ministry, Pakistan had attempted to engage military targets in these cities located in Northern and Western India.
However, the attacks were thwarted by India's Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems.
As per reports, the debris from the attacks are being recovered by the Indian military in order to prove Pakistan's role in the aggression.

Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, Bhuj.
S-400 Defence System Thwarted Pak's Attempted Attack
The Indian Air Force reportedly deployed its S-400 air defence systems to foil the aerial attack by Pakistan in retaliation.
Pakistan attempted to strike multiple military targets across northern and western India using drones and missiles.

However, the projectiles were intercepted and neutralised by the S-400 air defence systems, dubbed as 'Sudarshan Chakra'.
As per sources, the Russian-made S-400 systems used in the interception are among the most advanced in the world.
The defense system is capable of tracking targets up to 600 kilometres away and intercepting threats at ranges of up to 400 kilometres.
