The Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) plays a crucial role in the collection, updating, and sharing of crime and criminal data on a near real-time basis. This comprehensive digital platform benefits State and Union Territory police forces, central law enforcement agencies, and citizens across India.
As on 1.02.2025, all 17,171 Police Stations across the country are connected and using CCTNS, informed Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha.
