Rourkela: In yet another broad day light robbery, unidentified miscreants on Monday allegedly robbed a company’s employee of Rs 15 lakh in Civil Town area here, official sources informed today.
As per sources, three masked miscreants attacked Deepak Singh, an employee of Ganesh Metalics and looted him of Rs 15 lakh while Singh was on his way to his office after drawing the said amount from IndusInd Bank in Civil Town area.
The robbers robbed Singh at gunpoint and fled the booty.
“They attacked and robbed me at gunpoint. The miscreants had covered their faces with handkerchiefs,” Deepak said.
Later a complaint was lodged with Raghunathpali Police station regarding the incident. Following the complaint police detained two employees of Ganesh Metalics suspecting them to be involved in the crime.
