Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Reddy has extended his YSRC party’s support to the NDA Presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu.

Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik had earlier renewed his support for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA's Presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu and urged all lawmakers in Assembly “cutting across party lines” to extend their support to the state’s daughter.

Janata Dal (United) has formally announced its support for Murmu for the upcoming election. Taking to Twitter, JD (U) national president Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh announced it on Wednesday. He wrote, “Janata Dal (U) welcomes and supports the candidature of Draupadi Murmu ji. My heartiest congratulations on being nominated for the presidential election.”

Also, Lok Jan Shakti Party president Chirag Paswan has rendered support to Murmu. He tweeted, “It is a matter of pride for us that Draupadi Murmu Ji has been nominated as the Presidential candidate by NDA. This would be the first time in the country that a daughter coming from a tribal society would assume the responsibility of the highest post in the country. LJP (Ram Vilas) fully supports this decision of the BJP.”

JD(S) patriarch HD Deve Gowda on Wednesday termed BJP-led NDA's candidate for presidential polls Draupadi Murmu, as "suitable" and "non controversial".
