Srimandir Parikrama Project row: Odisha government is in a fix, says MP Aparajita Sarangi

The Odisha government has landed in a soup and now they are trying to cover up their mistakes carried out in the execution of the Srimandir Heritage Corridor project in Puri. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bhubaneswar Aparajita Sarangi said this on Friday while launching a scathing attack on the government.

“I am repeatedly saying it that the government has painted itself into a corner by carrying out the construction works of Srimandir Heritage Corridor project. They are well aware of the fact that the Ancient Monuments and Archeological Sites and Remains (AMASR) Act, 1958 have been violated. Hence, now they are left with no option but to manage the scene by covering up the mistakes,” Sarangi said.
