The Singhadwara Police in Puri on Thursday registered case in connection with controversial digging and construction works at Puri Jagannath Temple under Srimandir corridor project.

According to sources, the case has been registered under Ancient Monuments Act sections 2D(C), 30 (A) following directives from Puri SDJM court.

Based on the direction from the court, police have registered case against Puri Collector, TATA Projects Manager and OBCC Executive Officer.
