The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved the verdict while hearing petitions pertaining to alleged illegal excavation and construction work near Jagannath temple in Puri.

The apex court has reserved the verdict till tomorrow after hearing the arguments of both parties.

The petitioners in the case had challenged Orissa HC's order refusing to restrain the State government from carrying out any excavation near the shrine.
