The ambulance driver who was questioned by the investigating team late last night, said “It was around 11 pm or 12 midnight when I started driving to the hospital with the officer. The ambulance stopped at Forest gate and remained there for around 10-15 minutes as no one accompanied the patient. A 'madam' in police uniform asked me to stop the vehicle. Later, the ambulance left for hospital after the patient's wife came and accompanied him,” the driver told OTV.
