The residents of Jhulenbar village in Odisha's Bolangir district gave a rousing welcome to Asish Nag and Jyoti Rajan Thanpati, who are the village's first recruits to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the elite Central paramilitary force.  

Asish and Jyoti, who have joined the CRPF as Jawans, received a red carpet walk-on following their arrival at their hometown after completing training in Chennai. They were garlanded by the villagers and relatives amid shouts and cheers of joy by fellow villagers. An impressive function was organized by the Dhabaleswar Yuva Sangh to celebrate their successful return.
