The Odisha Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (OREAT), Bhubaneswar on Wednesday announced launching of its newly-developed official website- www.oreat.nic.in for public.
OREAT chairperson Justice Subash Chandra Parija unveiled the website today through virtual mode in the presence of SIC-cum-DDG, NIC Bhubaneswar, Kabita Roy and others.
“Our endeavour and goal with this new designed website is to create a utilitarian and user-friendly browsing for the litigants, advocates, builders, promoters, real estate agents and developers, home buyers and the general public at large,” the tribunal said in a press release.
“We hope that the website would definitely be helpful and beneficial to the litigants, lawyers as well as general public at large as it aims to provide better access to almost all the useful and important information relating to the OREAT e.g. order, judgements, case status, defect list, cause list, important notifications/tenders,” it added.
The Tribunal has also envisioned to integrate with the website the Case Information System (CIS) and SMS Services very soon.
Notably, the Housing and Urban Development department (H&UD) had formed the tribunal on February 2, 2019 in line with the provision of the RERA Act, 2016 following the direction of Orissa High Court.
The Tribunal was set up to address the issues of builders and homebuyers in the State.
