IPS Reshuffle In Odisha: Nayagarh SP Transferred, 12 Other Districts Get New Police Chiefs
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Odisha government on Wednesday effected a major IPS cadre reshuffle.
As per the notification of the State Home Department, IPS Diptesh Kumar Pattanayak has been transferred and posted as IG (Prisons). He is at present IGP of ER, Balasore.
Meanwhile, the present IG (Prisons), HK Lal has also been transferred and posted as IGP, ER, Balasore.

Narasingha Bhol has been transferred and posted as IGP, Central Range, Cuttack. He is currently working as the IGP, NR, Sambalpur.
Deepak Kumar, who is on repatriation from Central deputation, has been posted as DIGP, NR, Sambalpur.
Moreover, OPS R K Paikray, who is presently at the DCP Headquarters in Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as SP of Deogarh district.
Similarly, OPS DP Tripathy at the ADCP Bhubaneswar, has also been transferred and posted as SRP, Cuttack.
