Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare deposes before NCST

Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakre on Thursday appeared before the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST). 

Thakre, against whom the NCST had issued an arrest warrant, appeared before the commission’s member Ananta Nayak's court.

The arrest warrant was issued against Thakre for repeatedly failing to appear before commission in connection with complaints related to tribal affairs. 

Later, the Orissa High Court stayed the NCST’s arrest warrant.
