Veteran journalist Vinod Dua passed away on Saturday, confirmed his daughter and actress Mallika Dua. He was 67.
The cremation will take place tomorrow, Mallika informed. The actress took to social media and shared an emotional post dedicated to her father.
She penned down an emotional note dedicated to her father and shared it on Instagram along with Vinod's photo.
"There will never be another like you. My first and best friend. My Papaji. Very few live as large and glorious a life as you did. Always up for a good time. Always ready for a challenge. Loved a good fight 🤣. Always there for his children. A self made, lion-hearted legend who roared in rebellion till his last breath. He feared nothing, least of all death. Thank you for being the BEST dad in the world. I’m sure you and mama are eating chapli kebab and discussing “mallika itna kyun ladti hai sabse. Kaise manage karegi 🤣”

The 67-year-old journalist, a Hindi broadcast journalism pioneer with stints in Doordarshan and NDTV, on November 29 was moved to the Intensive Care Unit of Apollo Hospital on the advice of doctors.
Earlier on June 11, the veteran journalist had lost his wife Dr Padmavati Dua.
Vinod and his wife were in a hospital in Gurgaon when the second Covid wave was at its peak. The journalist's health suffered ever since and was being admitted in hospitals.
The couple is also parents to elder daughter Bakul Dua, a clinical psychologist.
