Odisha government effected a minor reshuffle in the IPS, OPS cadres. Similarly, several officers in the rank of additional superintendent of police on Tuesday were promoted to the rank of superintendent of police (super time scale) in Odisha.
As per the notification issued by the Home Department, IPS Prahalad Sahai Meena, posted as AIGP State Police Headquarters is transferred and posted as Boudh SP.
Kishore Kumar Panigrahi, posted as additional DCP (Commissionerate Police), is now posted as superintendent of police, Special Task Force (STF) Bhubaneswar.
On promotion, Additional SP Bonai (Rourkela) Sayed Mujibur Rahman is now posted as SP, Signals Cuttack. Sudam Charan Sahoo, currently posted as Additional SP Barbil with headquarters at Keonjhar, is now posted as DCP Crime, Police Commissionerate (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack).
Gyana Ranjan Mohapatra, Additional SP Intelligence, is posted as SP Special Branch.
Pramod Rath, posted as DCP Crime ( Commissionerate Police) is transferred and now posted as Deogarh SP.
SP Special Branch, Chittaranjan Samant, is transferred and posted as SP, Computer, Bhubaneswar.
