HSRP affixation: Ensure people don’t face problem, Odisha govt tells Transport Commissioner

In a letter, Commerce and Transport department Joint Secretary Kishore Chandra Das directed the State Transport Commissioner to find out how many old vehicles are there in the State and how many days it will take to affix HSRP in them.

The Odisha government has directed the State Transport Commissioner to take necessary measures to ensure people in rural and remote areas don’t face problem to book time slot and affix the High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) in their vehicles. 

The government has made affixation of HSRP mandatory on old vehicles registered prior to April 1, 2019.
