The East Coast Railways has announced cancellation, short termination, diversion and controlling of several trains under its jurisdiction this weekend.
As per the notice issued by the national transporter, Howrah-Secundarabad Falaknuma Express will remain cancelled from Howrah side on May 22 and from the opposite direction on May 21.
Shalimar Puri Express will remain cancelled from both directions on May 22. Howrah-Yeshvantpur Duronto Express will remain cancelled from Howrah on May 22 while the up train will remain cancelled on May 24.
Likewise, Shalimar-Hyderabad East Coast Express will be out of service from Shalimar on May 22 while the train from the other direction will remain cancelled on May 21.
Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express will remain out of bounds of tourists from both directions on May 22.
Howrah-Bhadrak Express will remain cancelled from Howrah on May 21 and 22 while Bhadrak-Howrah Express will remain off the tracks from Bhadrak on May 22 and 23.
Likewise, Kharagpur-Jajpur Keonjhar Road MEMU will remain cancelled from both directions on May 22 while Kharagpur-Khordha Road Express will stay off the tracks from both sides on May 22.
Howrah-Yeshvantpur Express will remain cancelled from Howrah on May 22 and from Yeshvantpur on May 21.
Similarly, Howrah-Titlagarh/Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express from both sides on May 22 will run between Rourkela and Titlagarh/Kantabanji and will remain cancelled between Rourkela and Kharagpur.
Kharagpur-Bhadrak MEMU Passenger Special from both sides on May 22 will run only between Hijili and Bhadrak.
The Railways has issued the said order to make way for safety-related modernisation work at Kharagpur Railway Station.
