Crying her heart out, she further questioned, "Why such injustice is done to me? Is there any law to prevent a bride from entering her in-laws' house? Why should I go to Sakhi centre?"

The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Berhampur on Saturday ordered a woman, who has staged dharna in front of her in-laws' house, to stay in a Sakhi centre, a one-stop centre for women, till the next hearing date, which is on November 29.  

Tapaswini Dash, the protesting bride, however, refused to stay at the shelter home and threatened to continue her protest till she was accepted by her husband.
