A day later after moving out of NDA, Nitish Kumar is all set to take oath as the chief minister of Bihar . This will be the eighth time for Kumar since he was first sworn in as the Bihar CM in 2000.

The swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar is scheduled at 2 pm today at the Rajendra Mandapam inside Raj Bhavan. Apart from Kumar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is likely to take oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.

It is the second time that Kumar has come out of the alliance with the BJP and he will form the government with the support of Lalu Prasad Yadav's JD(U).

It is speculated that Kumar wants to become the Prime Ministerial candidate of the Opposition in 2024 Lok Sabha polls and his current move to move out of the NDA is part of his ambitious plan.
