With the Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer multi-lingual film ‘RRR’ getting an overwhelming response from fans and emerging as one of the biggest hits, the State Transport Authority (STA), Odisha took the opportunity to create awareness on road safety.
The STA, which is known for its innovative ideas to promote road safety, rode on the popularity of the SS Rajamouli directorial to draw the attention of the public towards obeying traffic rules.
The ‘RRR’ originally stands for Rise, Roar, Revolt, but the STA has innovatively expanded the acronym to ‘Responsible’, ‘Road’, ‘Rides’ emphasising the need of safe driving of vehicles on road.
The STA shared a picture from ‘RRR’ in which Jr NTR was seen riding a motorcycle while Ram Charan was riding the pillion. Both the lead actors were seen wearing helmets.
Sharing the picture, the STA wrote, “Responsible Road Rides #RRR can take you to your destination safely. Always wear a helmet whether you are a driver or pillion rider.”
This innovative idea of STA received appreciation from Twitter users. “You guys are innovative dude!!!!!,” wrote a user.
‘Good Innovative Road Safety Message! Wonderful’ wrote another user. “So innovative, Great,” wrote a Twitterati.
SS Rajamouli's movie RRR continues to break several records since its release on March 25. On day one of its release, RRR went on to become the biggest blockbuster in the Indian cinema industry after becoming the highest grosser movie worldwide.
