Lucknow: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped and strangled to death by unidentified persons in Indira Nagar area, police said here today.

The girl, who went missing from Chooramani village on Tuesday night after she had gone to attend a function with her father and brother, was found dead in a field on Wednesday evening, they said. A case has been registered.
