Minor girl abducted and raped

The girl had yesterday gone to give fodder to cattle when she was abducted and raped allegedly by Sanjai Yadav of the same village, they said.

Later the girl some how managed to escape and narrated the incident after which the family caught hold of Sanjai and beat him up, police said.

On the complaint of the victim's family, a case was registered and the accused arrested late in the night, Station Officer Tambore, Dev Singh said.

The girl has been sent for medical examination to the district hospital, the SO added.
