Vadodara(Gujrat): A man allegedly killed his two wives following an altercation with them over a minor issue in Antroli village in the tribal-dominated part of the district, police said. The incident took place on Tuesday and a case has been registered against Shymala Jangaliya Rathwa, from a tribal community, Rangpur police said today.

According to police, Rathwa lost his temper, when he saw both his wives - Chamayadi and Udhali talking to an unknown man at their field in the village. Following an altercation with them over the issue, he axed both his wives to death and fled from the spot. Incidentally, his two young daughters witnessed the murder, police added. Both the victims were sisters and had married Rathwa, who has 13 children.
