Berhampur (Odisha): A 34-year-old man was on Friday arrested on charge of beating his father to death in Odisha's Ganjam district, police said.

The incident took place at Kuruguda village under Jarada police station on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Bishra Pradhan (60) and his accused son was Khatia (34), police said.

Police said family quarrel could be the reason behind the crime.
