Locals vandalise poultry farm

Bhubaneswar: One person was injured after a mob ransacked a poultry farm at Dangara village under Boriguma police limits in Jeypore.

The injured has been has been admitted to Kumuliput hospital.

According to reports, a group of local villagers vandalised the poultry farm as it was allegedly creating health problems due to severe pollution in the region since long.

Around 50 villagers forced their way into the farm and destroyed eggs and other properties after no step was taken to check pollution despite several complaints to its employees and officials.
