In this era of short-term happiness and situationship, cheating has become very common. Without even thinking about their partner, people tend to cheat for short pleasures.

Moreover, cheating has also become easy on all levels in this digital era, allowing secret conversations and all the apps to keep things away from your partner. People seem to have started treating others like objects and trading one for another.

When a relationship or a marriage hits the rock, not only time, money, and energy get wasted, but also years of emotions, good memories, and feelings are thrown out of the window.

After a breakup, every person thinks that he/she would have done better in life or would have been in a better position if he/she had not wasted his/her time in a relationship. However, one can hardly do anything after a relationship is broken, other than moving on in life.

Now, a social media influencer has started a debate on wasting time on relationships. He has called for normalizing ‘security deposits’ in relationships.

“For my next relationship, I’mma need at least a $2,000 security deposit. I’m not gonna be wasting my time anymore. It’s gonna cost you,” the man can be heard saying in a video that has been going viral.

Many social media users are also echoing his opinion and took to the comment section to share their views.

“Yes, a relationship is an investment. So, cheaters should be kicked out and the money should be given to those who are cheated,” commented a user.

Another user wrote, “Lmao… Valid. I’ve been abused verbally, mentally, financially, emotionally and even physically cause she got violent at some point… tried to fix it each and every time, until I cut ties cause I found out I was even being cheated on… damn, she looks like an angel, and put me through hell. A deposit would’ve been nice. Even though she costed me way more than 2k.”

“I need a full background check and references- money is nothing,” wrote another user.
