Labourer Stabbed To Death On Utkal University Campus

Bhubaneswar: Police have recovered the body of a labourer who was found dead on the premises of Utkal University campus here on Thursday night.

The deceased, who was engaged in a construction work in the campus, has been identified as Budhuram Singh.

According to sources, Budhuram was stabbed to death by a co-worker after a quarrel erupted between the duo over sharing of wages.

Receiving information from other workers, Saheed Nagar police rushed to the spot and launched a probe into the incident.

The body has been sent for post-mortem. Police are also conducting raids in different places to nab the accused who is still on the run.
