Labourer arrested for stealing DVD player

The incident came to light at the Club on Rafi Marg yesterday when a catering supervisor noticed that the DVD player at the reception was missing. "He checked the CCTV footage of Friday night and allegedly found that a labourer involved in the construction of swimming pool in the Club stealing the DVD player. He went to the site and caught the labourer and informed police," a senior police official said.

The alleged thief was identified as Yunus, who resides in a slum behind nearby VP House. The stolen DVD player was recovered from under a staircase near the under-construction pool. A case was registered in this connection.
